Albert Tortajada

AUGGMED Project – The gradual implementation of intelligent systems in railway operations means that often the intervention of people, when necessary, atypical occur under conditions for which it is difficult to plan simulation / training scenarios.

The AUGGMED project aims to develop simulation environments and virtual games in order to carry out this training in emergency situations. While the main target are the bodies and security forces is considered, also the rail operators staff are key persons who always are the first instance to handle incidents until the arrival of the security forces.

SESSION 4. VELARO HIGH SPEED TRAIN: RELIABILITY, PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY OF SERVICE

Francisco Payán

SIMOS Smart Insight: maximizing the availability of the railway systems by analyzing data
Locomotives, trains, components, signaling systems, today any element of the rail system is a data source. Once these have been processed, the information can be used to analyze trends and continuously monitor the status of equipment. The result, Predictive Maintenance is possible for vehicles and infrastructure. Algorithms for each application monitoring, reporting of any deviation from the norm and proposals for correction. All with the highest safety standards in data transmission. SIMOS Smart Insight allows reducing failure during operation, reduce downtime for maintenance and increases system availability.

Enrique Torres

High Speed Train Velaro: reliability, profitability and quality of service
A global platform able to operate in different environments, combines proven that guarantees quality, reliability and technological developments with adaptability, flexibility and personalization required by railway operators anywhere in the world design.
The Siemens Velaro trains run in different countries voltages, signaling systems and interior design tailored to the needs of each of our clients, while offering operating costs (maintenance, energy, etc.) highly competitive throughout the entire product life cycle.
